DISCLAIMER: Not much to it at this point. Features are missing and broken. This is mostly a testing/debug build that I am making publicly available to make distribution easy.


In this atmospheric high fantasy RPG, the player finds themselves thrust into the heart of turmoil as the once serene Ironheart Isles face a mysterious threat. As reports of goblin attacks spread across the Isles, a ragtag group of adventurers are dispatched by the Explorers Guild to investigate disturbances in the southern reaches. However, their journey takes a perilous turn when they are caught in the grip of an unnatural storm, leaving them shipwrecked and stranded amidst the chaos. Struggling to survive in hostile territory, the adventurers soon discover that the goblin resurgence is merely a harbinger of a much darker conspiracy lurking beneath the surface.

As they traverse the world of Eldaria, battling fierce adversaries and forging unlikely alliances, your heroes uncover ancient secrets that unveil a sinister plot threatening to unleash cataclysmic destruction upon the world. Delving into forgotten ruins and deciphering cryptic prophecies, they must race against time to thwart the machinations of malevolent forces hell-bent on the destruction of life itself. With the entire world at stake, you must navigate a web of deceit and betrayal, ultimately confronting the mastermind behind the chaos.


My newest attempt at the modernization of my favorite old time RPGs like Bards Tale and Might and Magic and bring it to life in a low poly 3d world. My goal is to create an atmospheric, world-spanning, fantasy epic with a little but of old school feel and modern features. I have tried a free roaming, first person project but it felt like it was missing something. With this attempt I hope to capture the magical feeling of playing these old games using a scaled down, simplified world (easier to design and build) and mechanics which are much closer to Might and Magic World of Xeen.


PLANNED FEATURES

  • First person, grid based movement and rotation with an unlockable camera for freely looking around (coming soon).
  • Turn based combat with ranged attack options for most heroes.
  • Permadeath - party members can be killed or maimed. New heroes can be hired to replace your losses.
  • Build a party of 6 Heroes from a variety of fantasy races (Human, Elves, Dwarves, Halflings, Half Orcs, etc.) and Professions (Recruit, Mercenary, Scout, Thief, Apprentice or Acolyte) with branching Mythic Classes.
  • Huge, hand crafted, tile-based Fantasy world made with the included Map Editor. World is made up of smaller maps, each up to 100x100 tiles.
  • Deadly dungeons full of monsters, traps, treasure, hidden rooms and ancient secrets.
  • Day/Night cycle with weather, fog and particle effects.
  • Ability to change tiles in the world through quests, events and powerful terraforming spells.
  • My current release plan is sort of an episodic approach. Release a small part of the world with a self contained story line that fits into a much grander tale. Then release DLC style story acts/map packs that will eventually fill out the entire world. Probably a 10$ release price then 5-10$ DLC packs.
  • Steam demo and release planned as well as free alpha and beta builds here on itch.
